6.19.05 2005 Youngstown 8man Spring League

YOUNGSTOWN, OH - After finishing the regular season with an 8-0 record, we kept our momentum rolling into the playoffs. After a close call with the Bears in our last meeting, we knew we had to bring our "A" game this time around, and that's just what we did in a 19-0 shutout victory. In the championship game we met up with the Roth Gators once again. We started out in fire, jumping out to a 22-0 lead, but were barely able to hold on as the Gators made a great attempt at a comeback, scoring two quick touchdowns to make the score 22-14. Their onside kick attempt failed and we ran out the clock to earn our 3rd consecutive Youngstown league title.
