8.21.05 2005 ICA Pittsburgh 4man Tournament

PITTSBURGH, PA - With their first 4man action in a long time, the new look Blue Devils took their show on the road in an ICA tourney in Pittsburgh, PA. The Devils looked very impressive on both sides of the ball as they finished the round robin with the #1 seed. As the playoffs began, the Devils had the luxury of a first round bye, meaning that they only had to win two games to win the championship. Just like in their round robin games, the Devils proved hard to stop as they crushed the Pro Bowlers in their semi-final game. They finished off the tournament with a 23-14 win over Steel Town Ironmen in the championship. A.J. Saul proved worthy of the tournament M.V.P. award as he led his offense to a 28 ppg average throughout the tournament.
