After a three month layoff since winning USFTL Nationals, we found ourselves trying to find our groove and get back to the level we were playing at a few months back. After a 26-22 win over Mick's Pub & Grille, we met up with the Avenue Titans. This game proved to be much of what we expected. A back and forth battle where special teams proved to be the difference in a 16-14 victory. In the winners bracket final we matched up with Red Zone/Public House, whom we defeated in the championship game at Nationals this past January. Two long scores by Red Zone's offense put the game out of reach, knocking us into the losers bracket in a 24-14 loss. After defeating the Falcons 21-12, we met up with Red Zone/Public House once again, which makes it the 4th time in consecutive tournaments. Red Zone/Public House's defensive line disrupted our offense throughout the game, giving them a 14-0 shutout victory.
