4 Play/Smooth Crominals were looking to keep there streak of 73 consecutive wins in tact with another title. The Blue Devils however, had different plans. Tied at the half 6-6, 4 Play/SC came out and scored on their first possession to take a 13-6 led. Immediately, the Blue Devils return the favor to once again tie the score at 13-13. 4 Play/SC was focused on pulling this one off as they moved ahead 19-13 with minutes remaining. Then a costly interception forced the game into overtime at 19-19. 4 Play/SC scored but missed their extra point. The Blue Devils in turn matched the feat making the score 25-25 going into a second overtime. The Blue Devils scored first but missed what may be a crucial extra point to make the score 32-25. However, a huge sack on the final play preserved the victory for the Blue Devils and ended one of the greatest winning streaks in Michigan Flag Football History.
